Batik is an Indonesian tradtional art of creating pattern on cloths using beeswax and a tool called 'canting'. Batik is derived from the Javanese language, with 'mba' meaning 'creating' and 'tik' meaning 'dots', therefore batik means 'creating dots'.

Combining and innovating the traditional art together with the art of glassblowing, Nathan created contemporary batik that is embeded onto the surface of blown glass vases.
